Ongoing PhD thesis topics

1. Translation, Cross-Cultural adaption, and Psychometric testing of International Care of the Dying Evaluation(i-CODE) in an Indian Setting
2. The role of Spirituality on Death Distress and Death Acceptance in advance cancer patients receiving Palliative Care in an Indian hospice setting
3. Lived Experiences of primary caregivers caring for patients with advanced cancer in an Indian hospice setting

Current Projects

1. Breathe India:
This project is funded by Medical Research Council, United Kingdom, and in collaboration with HULL University and Cambridge University. The project aims to identify and refine evidence and theory of breathlessness self-management and develop a community-based intervention using the Realist approach.

Our past projects

1. Development of a socio-culturally sensitive intervention to integrate palliative care services into Intensive Care in India UK Research and Innovation GCRF Grant funded this project. This project was successfully completed in collaboration with Lancaster University in 2021-2022. The project aimed to co-design a socio-culturally sensitive intervention to integrate palliative care in intensive care units through the theory of change workshops.
